The construction
of this authentic Canadian log cabin is unique :
150 tree trunks were necessary for the construction
each tree trunk was individualy
sanded by hand. As you will see, each trunk is unique.
The original aspect of the trees is preserved unlike other
timber constructions rounds where the trunks are gauged
out of a machine. It is really a craftsman's job requiring
hundreds of work hours |

the assembly of the walls is
unique too. Thanks to a variety of techniques, the walls
are perfectly tight and get maximum heat insulation |
| |
All the exterior and interior
completions (partitions, staircase) were made from the
same tree trunks. Only doors, windows, and parquet floors
in solid oak are manufactured products. |

finally the detail work is in
very good quality and done by the best local professionals |
